Summary: Whilst the location was perfect, the hotel lacked a lot. Firstly, the toilets don’t flush- needed to use public toilets all the time. Called reception 6 times in a two day stay. checked out with the issue persisting. Secondly and MOST annoyingly- both pools close at 7pm- highly pathetic for a hotel that calls itself a resort- especially in December- anyone seeing this- keep dreaming about sunset swims.

Summary: The room was old and worn and the bed was like concrete. We were so disappointed when we arrived. The infinity pool which was the best part of the hotel, it was lovely with great views, although it was up a very steep hill.

Summary: The stay was disappointing for the price. If you ask me, not worth the price at all. Room service was very inconsistent. They kept changing what was provided, and I only received some blue towels (apparently for pool use) after the second cleaning. If those are meant for guests, they should have been available from the start. Not a single time did I get refill on cotton swabs. It smells like sewage from the shower drain, and the sink drain is clogged, which causes soap residue to build up and makes it unpleasant to use. I’ve had to spend time letting the water drain little by little to avoid the residue sticking to the sink, which has been very annoying. The balcony door couldn’t be locked, which felt very uncomfortable as a woman traveling alone. The shower has no handheld showerhead, only a fixed one in the ceiling. They do provide a shower cap, but that doesn’t solve the problem , your face still gets wet, which is annoying if you have makeup on and only want to wash your body. The pillows are extremely high and hard. I couldn’t sleep on them and even got ear pain. The pain you get if you’d slept on a table or any hard surface. If you like sleeping with you neck bent, these pillows are for you. There’s also a steep hill leading up to the room, which became quite tiring to walk every time. I didn’t try the breakfast or the pool, so I can’t comment on those, but overall, the stay did not meet expectations.

Summary: On arrival, wifi didn’t work and security box was broken. We were made to wait for an hour for repairs, which didn’t work out anyways. The facility and views are nice, but you have to rely on ground transport to and from your room every time going in or out—a bit of a pain. Best point: quiet away from the mayhem of Ao Nang walking street.
